This Privacy Policy describes how MY SEWING PATTERNS ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and discloses your personal information when you use the My Sewing Patterns mobile application, web visualization modules, and associated services (the "Services").

1. The Design Studio, Community Content, & Visual Previews

Our Services allow you to combine sewing patterns with physical fabrics to visualize garment creations within your personal "Design Studio".

• Image Processing & Visual Rendering: When you upload or capture photos of physical fabrics, our App uses computer vision, scale-calibration, and image-rendering algorithms to dynamically generate visual previews of finished garments. These visual previews are digital representations intended solely for creative inspiration and guidance.
• Community Showcase: If you voluntarily publish visual combinations to the App's public community feeds, those combinations are visible to other users to inspire creative projects.
• Your Right to Opt Out & Keep Private: You can keep your rendered designs private at any time in your Account Settings or by contacting info@mysewingpatterns.com. When set to private, your designs, uploaded swatches, and studio combinations remain accessible only to you.

2. What Information We Collect

We operate on a strict Data Minimization principle. We collect only the categories of information necessary to deliver and support the Services:

• Direct Identifiers: Name, email address, and account login credentials (username/encrypted password).
• User Content & Camera Uploads: Fabric images, textile swatches captured via your device camera, custom scale markers, and saved pattern combinations voluntarily submitted to enable scale calibration and visualization.
• Usage & Technical Data: Interactions with our visualization tools (such as zoom, scale toggle, and pattern view selections), device model, operating system, IP address, and diagnostic/crash logs collected via session cookies, SDKs, and mobile analytics frameworks.
• Customer Support Inquiries: Communication records and details provided when submitting a support ticket or privacy request.

Note: We do not process, collect, or store payment card details or transaction histories from third-party pattern vendor websites.

3. External Links & the Redirect Model

The sewing patterns featured in the App are owned by independent third-party designers, commercial publishers, and brand partners ("Vendors").

• Redirection: When you choose to purchase a pattern or third-party textile, the App redirects you via an outbound link directly to the Vendor’s official website.
• Data Boundary: We do not track your browsing, cart contents, or checkout process once you navigate away from our App. Your data privacy on external sites is governed solely by that specific Vendor’s privacy policy.
• Affiliate & Referral Disclosures: We may receive compensation or referral commissions from pattern publishers or textile vendors when you click outbound links. This does not result in any additional cost to you.

4. How We Use and Disclose Data

We use your information to operate the Design Studio, execute visual renderings, calibrate repeat scales, maintain app stability, and deliver customer support.

• No Sale or Targeted Ad Sharing: We do not sell your personal data, nor do we share your personal information or uploaded images with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising.
• No Public Model Training: Your uploaded fabric photos and personal designs are processed solely for your functional in-app rendering sessions and are never used to train public foundational AI image models.
• Service Providers: We share technical data and uploaded assets strictly with trusted infrastructure providers (such as cloud hosting, image delivery CDNs, and Google Analytics for Firebase) under binding data processing agreements with confidentiality obligations.
• Legal Disclosures: We may disclose information if required by a valid legal process, subpoena, or applicable statutory authority.

5. Children’s Privacy

The Services are not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal data without parental consent, please contact us immediately at info@mysewingpatterns.com for prompt deletion.

6. Security & Data Retention

We maintain administrative, physical, and technical safeguards (including TLS/SSL transport encryption) to protect your personal data. We retain your profile information and Design Studio assets only for as long as your account remains active or as required to meet legal obligations.

7. Your Privacy Rights & Choices (United States)

Depending on your US state of residence (including Colorado, California, and other jurisdictions), you hold the following rights:

• Access & Portability: Request a copy of the personal data we maintain about you.
• Correction: Request correction of inaccurate profile data.
• In-App Account & Data Deletion: Delete your account and all associated data directly within the App via Account > Delete Account, or by emailing info@mysewingpatterns.com with the subject line "Data Deletion Request".
• Non-Discrimination: We will never deny services, charge different prices, or provide a lower quality of service for exercising your statutory privacy rights.
• Appeals: If a privacy request is denied, you may appeal by contacting us at info@mysewingpatterns.com with the subject line "Privacy Appeal".

8. Specific Provisions for Australia & New Zealand

If you access or use the App from Australia or New Zealand, this section applies pursuant to the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (including the Australian Privacy Principles, "APPs") and the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020 (including the Information Privacy Principles, "IPPs"):

• Collection & Use of Image Data (APP 3 & NZ Principle 1–4): Uploaded fabric swatches and camera inputs are collected solely for the functional purpose of calibrating scale and rendering garment previews in your session. Providing camera access is optional; you may also upload saved images from your photo gallery.
• Cross-Border Transfers (APP 8 & NZ Principle 12): Our technical infrastructure, databases, and image processing servers are hosted in the United States. By accessing the Services, you acknowledge and consent to the transfer and storage of your account and image data on US servers, subject to equivalent organizational and technical safeguards.
• Access, Correction & Deletion Rights: You may access the personal information we hold about you, request corrections to errors, or request deletion by emailing info@mysewingpatterns.com. We respond to verified requests within thirty (30) calendar days.
• Complaints Procedure & External Escalation: If you have a question or complaint regarding our compliance with local privacy principles:
